My Teaching Philosophy

My teaching and educating philosophy centers on believing that only via education, one can change his or her world. For me, through proper learning, we can educate and create a nation which is able to make informed decisions, synthesize ideas and also critically evaluate issues rationally apart from enjoying the life they live. I also believe that every students have their very own potential and able to learn.

Teaching's Phrases

 Thus, it is our job as educators, to guide students to build up and polish their potential within, on the right pathway. Hence, in realizing that fact, i should put my very best to promote students' learning capability by employing creative and critical thinking, as well as emphasizing the significance of education and giving my students the freedom to think and uncover knowledge. Furthermore, i understand that each individual are unique and different from one another. Thus, i must appreciate and be considerate with any ideas, views, criticisms and suggestions from students. I will encourage my students to be outspoken in order to stimulate their self-confidence and values their own effort and determination to succeed not only in their lessons but in their life as well.

Adaption with technology in education is significant nowadays

Course material should be interesting, challenging and works interactively as well as relevant with current issues. I believe that students will understand more and able to digests the information if the sources and the learning material is presented in an interactive and alive environment compare to dull and plain condition where students will easily get bored. I also believe that students can learn in a fun way when learning science through experiments, investigations and innovations. I surely prefer to use variety of activities to stimulate the students’ interest, apart from enhancing their understanding. For this, using a variety of multimedia for instance courseware, videos, slideshows and games, are among some of the effective method to substitute regular lecturers and laboratory exercises. But still, traditional lectures accompanied with reading remains as the fundamental of educational experience.

As an educator, i should be more open towards current ideas and suggestions. In order to be more resourceful, i must get involved with educational activities for example forums, seminars or conferences to further and widens my horizon. Teachers should be at least twice or thrice steps ahead of their students. Thus, it is important for me, to always keep updating myself with latest technology and keeping in touch with global issues and current information.

Our future's leaders

During class discussions for instance, being able to share ideas and views as well as cooperative in groups are essential in developing social and mental growth. Hence, i should be always prepared so that i can lead my students to reach the right conclusions and answers, without only spoon feeding them. I want my students not merely to consume my ideas and suggestions only.

In conclusion, i encouraged my students to seek every chance they encounter and utilize the authentic sources around them. Other than that, though i really put high expectations towards my students, i only wish them the very best in their life. Even if they are unable to thrive in education, still i hope them to be grateful for what they are as human beings in lines with purpose of the national education philosophy.
